Ted Schlissel has worked with Oak portfolio companies since 1981, preparing for IPOs, new rounds of private financing, and developing business plans. He focuses on identifying and solving planning issues using a unique "top down" approach to analyzing sales, pipelines, and marketing information. This method enables management to generate more reliable sales and revenue forecasts that help keep OpEx, CapEx and inventory investments in line. In addition to Oak companies, he has experience with media, direct marketing, and financial services firms both in the U.S. and abroad. He has been a director of several public companies, is a C.P.A. and a graduate of Brooklyn College.
