Ted Schlissel has worked with Oak portfolio companies since 1981 preparing for IPOs, new rounds of private financing, and developing business plans. He focuses on identifying and solving planning issues using a unique "top down" approach to analyzing sales, pipelines and marketing information. This method enables management to generate more reliable sales and revenue forecasts which help keep OPEX, CapEx and inventory investments, in line. In addition to Oak companies he has experience with media, direct marketing and financial services firms both in the U.S. and abroad. He has been a director of several public companies, is a C.P.A. having been with one of the large firms, and is a graduate of Brooklyn College.
