Warren B. Riley, General Partner, joined Oak in 1999. He focuses on investments in the consumer Internet, digital media, online advertising and enterprise software and services sectors. Ren currently serves on the Boards of Centric Software, Digital Media Group, iCrossing, nGenera, NR2B, Reunion.com, and Sutherland Global Services. He works closely working with several Oak portfolio companies including Aspect Software, Demand Media, MobiTV, RazorGator, Rearden Commerce, Shop.com, SmartDrive and ZuMobi. Ren is also actively involved with Oak’s investments in China including DMG, Lianlian Pay, Lingtu, Shenzhen State Micro Technology (SMiT) and SportsGG. His past portfolio activity includes Allyes (acquired by Focus Media), Aventail, Cobalt, Connexus, Fastclick (acquired by ValueClick), Limelight Networks (NASD: LLNW), Parlano (acquired by Microsoft), Talisma (acquired by nGenera), Tele Atlas (Amsterdam: TA.AS) and U.S. Auto Parts (NASD: PRTS). Prior to joining Oak, Ren was a Senior Associate with Robertson Stephens, a technology-focused investment bank. He worked in the corporate finance division and executed several public and private equity offerings as well as M&A transactions in the Internet, technology, business and information services sectors. Ren graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Government.
