H. Eugene Lockhart is currently a Venture Partner with Oak focusing on Financial Services Information Technology opportunities. Previously, Gene has held several senior management positions in leading financial services and technology organizations. Among those Gene was President and CEO of MasterCard International, President of the Global Retail Bank and Senior Vice Chairman of BankAmerica Corporation, President of Consumer Services at AT&T, and President and Chief Executive Officer of New Power Holdings. In addition to his Oak responsibilities, Gene sits on the following public boards: RadioShack Corporation, IMS Health Inc., and Asset Acceptance Capital Corporation. Gene graduated undergraduate from the University of Virginia with a degree of Mechanical Engineering and received an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
