Ann Huntress Lamont has been with Oak since 1982. She became a Managing Partner in 2006 and prior to that served as General Partner from 1986. Ann leads the healthcare and financial services information technology teams at Oak. Ann's more recent investments include athenahealth, CareMedic, Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology, iHealth Technologies, NetSpend, PayFlex, PharMEDium Healthcare, Point Carbon, United BioSource and Vesta. Prior services investments include American Esoterics, Harbor Payments, Health Dialog, Odyssey Healthcare, Oak Tree/Oxford, Pacific Dental Benefits, Psychiatric Solutions, and Radiant Research. Earlier in Ann's venture career, she developed a number of successful biopharmaceutical investments (Cephalon, Viropharma, Esperion). Prior to joining Oak, Ann was a research associate with Hambrecht & Quist, and received her BA in Political Science from Stanford University.

Ann currently serves on the Stanford University Board of Trustees. She served on the Executive Board of the National Venture Capital Association. She was recognized as one of the top 50 investors on the 2008 Forbes Midas List.
