Andrew Adams, General Partner, joined Oak in 2003 and became a General Partner in 2010. He currently focuses on investments in Healthcare and FinTech.
Andrew currently serves on the Boards of Maestro Healthcare Technologies, One Medical Group, and xG Health Solutions. Andrew is also actively involved with Benefitfocus, Independent Living Systems, and Precision for Medicine Holdings. Prior investment activity includes American Esoteric Laboratories (acquired by Sonic Healthcare Limited), Argus Information & Advisory Services (acquired by Verisk Analytics), CareMedic Systems (acquired by Ingenix), CLARiENT (acquired by GE Healthcare), Harbor Payments (acquired by American Express), Health Dialog (acquired by British United Provident Association), iHealth Technologies (acquired by Connolly), NetSpend Corporation (acquired by TSYS), PayFlex Systems (acquired by Aetna), PharMEDium Healthcare (acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice) and United BioSource (acquired by Medco Health Solutions).
Prior to joining Oak, Andrew was a Senior Associate with Capital Resource Partners, a mezzanine capital firm, where he focused on investments in healthcare and business services companies. Andrew was also a Financial Analyst in the media and communications group of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. Andrew graduated from Princeton University with a BA in History.
